Properties: Non-toxic, flammable yellow powder named for its insolubility in carbon disulfide. It is prepared by the hot polymerization of ordinary sulfur, the molecular weight is about 30000, and the viscoelastic and molecular weight distribution of polymers, so it is also called elastic sulfur or polymerized sulfur, which is an inorganic polymer chemical raw material.
Application: Insoluble sulfur, which is mainly used as a kind of advanced accelerator and vulcanization agent in the rubber industry, is widely used in the production and manufacture of tires and other rubber composite products, such as tire body rubber material, buffer rubber material, white tire side rubber and flip tire, rubber hose, tape and other rubber and skeleton materials, and can also be used in the rubber material of cable, rubber roller, oil seal, rubber shoes and other rubber products. At the same time, it is also used in light-colored rubber products with large amount of sulfur. Because the insoluble sulfur can make the meridian, steel wire and rubber paste more firmly, effectively prevent the rubber spray, improve the heat resistance and wear resistance of the tire. Therefore, insoluble sulfur is an essential and important raw material in tire production.

Major Applications
Oil Seals and Gaskets:
